From the Rate Management page, choose the 'Advanced Options' button.
You will land on the page that says 'Edit On Demand Configuration'.
The first configuration is to set the Inventory. You can enter the number of spaces to ensure you do not oversell.
Alternatively you can enter the -1 to skip any inventory management.
Next, you can configure redemption instructions.
You can choose the type of session Mobile Pay and Pay by Plate are the same - and the default option.
If you want your zone to be Pay-by-Space, you can configure that here.
It will then show up on the app with slightly different instructions reminding customers to pay by space vs. by plate.
Custom instructions can be configured here as well.
These are used if you want to follow a slightly different flow than the pre-arranged options listed in the app for the product.
Eg. If you provide 2 hours free, and need payment to happen after the first 2 hours of parking. You can let your users know the proper flow.
These instructions appear below the rates in the app, or off to the left side on the web app.
You can also enter a Description here.
Descriptions are displayed just below your operator name and logo.
They can help customers find your parking or learn about special rates or details that might be required pre-purchase.
Eg. There is a maximum amount of time can be purchase, or you want to direct daily users to a flex pass option etc.
How it appears in the app
Additional Instructions can also be configured here.
These instructions are special as they pop-up AFTER purchase. These are most commonly used for access instructions such as directing users to enter from a certain entrance, or giving access to a door code for after hours.
Example of how they appear to the user immediately post-purchase.
Users can access these instructions at any time from their purchase page.
The advanced configuration option is the booking parameters.
Booking Configuration allows you to set a limit to how far in advance users can pre-purchase.
You would choose the 'Booking Limit' option if you want to allow users to book less than 14 days in advance (14 days in standard), or even if you want to allow further bookings such as 6 months to a year out.
Or completely you remove that option to pay in advance.
Choose 'Immediate Redemption' for locations that you want to dis-allow advanced booking. This means that users can search and find your location online, but can't pre-pay unless they agree to their session beginning immediately.
Choose 'Submit' to save.
