Choose Add a Rate in blue in the top left corner
Give your rate a name - be as descriptive as possible.
Eg. '$4 for 1 hour' or 'All Day Parking Expires at 6pm'.
You don't have to list the price in the details but sometimes its useful when managing multiple rates.
You then have to choose whether its a paid or notification rate* by checking the applicable box
You can then set the amount of the rates in the Price box. This will be in XX.XX format. (Eg $1.00 rate is entered as 1.00).
Next you need to set your rates availability.
It can be a recurring rate (most often) or an event rate.
Event rates are special rates that occur for a scheduled amount of time and then regular rates resume when the event rates end. More about setting event rates here.
Recurring rates repeat on specific days of the week. They are used for standard parking situations and follow a consistent schedule.
Recurring rates need to be scheduled for dates and start and end time in regards to availability.
Just choose the days of the week, can be 1 or more days.
Then choose the start and end time.
If you want your rate available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week you would choose all days and then have your start and end time as 00:00 until 23:59.
The system uses the 24 hour clock.
Lastly you choose the rate type.
Valid between where you park between a start and end date such as an event.
Valid for where you park for a specific duration - standard rates such as valid for 2 hours or 24 hours.
Valid until where you park until a fixed end time - such as a day rate until 6pm or overnight until 8am.
Finish by choosing submit at the bottom of the page to save.
*Notification rates: rates that are not purchasable but will advise a user of the whatever details desired. These are used for free parking or holiday rates. Or if you moved the zones and want to direct users elsewhere, etc.
