From the left side Menu, select 'Management' option and then select 'Zones & Rates'.
Land on the Zone Index page and choose the 'Edit Zone Details' option for the zone in question.
Land on the Zone Edit page.
View the 'Access Type' and 'Validation Type' for the zone which is usually set based on the rate created for the zone. If this needs to be updated please contact Operations Support.
Update the 'Sales Channel' next.
There are different types of sales avenues that can be toggled here, these are usually set based on the needs of the location/zone.
HONK Tap - Accessible by scanning a QR code or via web link that opens directly to purchase page. No App required. No account required.
HONK App - Accessible via the mobile or web App. Download not required when using web App, but account required to make a purchase.
HONK Hub - Accessible via link emailed to users to claim permit. Useful for Event Parking to invite the parkers directly to redeem or purchase the permit. Useful for Municipalities to invite approved residents to redeem permits directly.
Picker - Accessible via SSO or correct zone code that provides the appropriate access. Useful for Universities and Colleges for long term permits only available to staff and students who can sign into their system. Useful for Municipalities to limit purchases or provide additional or cheaper rates to residents who enter the appropriate zip/postal code.
Custom Receipt - Give parkers instructions, directions, or additional information in the receipt.
Text is displayed on the users Success Screen once they complete a purchase.
Amenities - Select the locations amenities by toggling the details. When toggled they are displayed to the user in the App, so they can best decide on the location required.
Update Zone Address by scrolling all the way down the Zone Edit page.
Update any of the zone location details, including the Latitude and Longitude for the location to be displayed in the HONK system map view. This pin is also used when the user initiates the Directions
Select 'Update Zone Details' to complete any adjustments made during the editing process for the zone.
