From the left side Menu select 'Management' and then 'Promo codes'.
You can then view current promo codes.
Choose the 'Create Promo Code' button in blue in the top right corner of the page.
Start by entering Promo Code Information, such as choosing and entering the actual promo code (name of code).
Next, you have to choose the 'Discount Type', which can be:
- Dollar Amount ($) This promo code will discount a specific dollar amount (eg. $10) on a user's purchase
- Percent (%) This promo code will discount a specific percentage (eg. 50%) of a user's purchase
- Per Account ($) Each account can use this promo code to discount up to a specific amount (eg. $10) per account. it can be use on multiple purchases until the amount of the promo is used up. (eg. two purchases of $4 and $6)
- Lifetime Dollar Amount ($) This promo code will discount up to a specific amount (eg. $10). It can be used on multiple purchases until the amount of the promo is used (eg. two purchases of $4 and $6)
Enter the 'Promo Code Value', which is either a dollar amount or a percentage.
Enter a 'Description' - not necessary but can be used to indicate which code is which when you have multiple codes.
The 'Usage Availability' is set next.
Enter the start date, the end date and the time zone in to set the time when this code will be able to be used/redeemed.
Lastly, you enter the 'Usage Limitations'.
Specify whether this promo code can be used only at a specific zone or at any zone within the company.
To 'Limit by Company' toggle the relevant option and enter the company in question into the field accompanied.
To 'Limit by Zone' toggle the relevant option and enter the zone or zones in question (separated by commas) into the field accompanied.
You can check the box 'Includes Convenience Fee' to make the promo code cover the convenience fee. That means that fee is paid by the promo code creator.
Limit usage by the amount the code can be used in total or by individual license plates by entering the number of uses in the relevant field.
Choose 'Create Promo Code' button to save and create the code.
There is an 'Advanced Settings' toggle at the top of this page. When activated it shows a 3rd option for usage limitations, which is 'Time-Based Plate Usage Limitations'.
This option allows you to choose the parameter for the limit on plates, so it can reset after a number of Days, Weeks or Months.
Once you hit the 'Create Promo Code' button you will land on the promo code index page.
A green bar appears across the top of the page confirming the promo code creation, and you can see the promo code listed with the options to edit as needed.
